Core i5-12600H, Dual 10G SFP+, 8K Display Support, RTX 3050 Compatible, Compact Barebone PC: MINISFORUM MS-01 Mini Workstation
Tech enthusiasts and IT professionals often face a dilemma: choosing between a massive, power-hungry desktop tower or a compact mini PC that lacks the connectivity and expansion needed for serious networking or server tasks. Standard small-form-factor computers usually fall short when it comes to high-speed data transfers, often lacking the enterprise-grade ports required for home labs, virtualization, or high-speed storage arrays.
The MINISFORUM MS-01 Mini Workstation changes the game by packing elite networking power into a remarkably small footprint. This barebone powerhouse is designed for those who want to customize their own performance, offering a robust Intel Core i5-12600H foundation. With its rare inclusion of dual 10G SFP+ ports and support for high-end expansion like U.2 SSDs or even discrete graphics cards, it is the ultimate compact engine for power users and networking gurus in 2026.
Key Features
- High-Speed Networking: Equipped with dual 10G SFP+ ports and dual 2.5G LAN ports for enterprise-level data throughput.
- Extreme Display Output: Supports up to 8K resolution via HDMI and dual USB4 ports for crystal-clear multi-monitor setups.
- Unmatched Storage Expansion: Supports M.2 2280, 22110, and high-performance U.2 SSDs to handle massive data libraries.

Why It’s Worth Buying
The MINISFORUM MS-01 is worth buying because it is one of the few mini PCs on the market that truly earns the “Workstation” title. Its networking capabilities are second to none in this size category, making it a dream machine for anyone building a home server, a high-speed NAS, or a portable virtualization lab. Since this is the barebone version, you have the total freedom to choose your own RAM and storage, ensuring you only pay for the exact specifications you need. It effectively replaces a full-sized rack server for many use cases, saving you space and electricity without compromising on professional connectivity.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Incredible I/O selection including 10Gbps SFP+ ports rarely found in mini PCs.
- Pros: Flexible expansion slots for specialized hardware like U.2 enterprise drives or GPUs.
