Revitalize Your Typing Experience with Mistel Doubleshot PBT Keycaps in Gloaming Color
Over time, standard keyboard keycaps often develop an unsightly “shine” due to finger oils, and the printed letters can fade away, making your setup look worn and cheap. For many mechanical keyboard enthusiasts, the thin plastic caps that come with pre-built keyboards fail to deliver that deep, satisfying “thock” sound and tactile texture that makes typing a pleasure. Upgrading your keycaps is the easiest and most effective way to breathe new life into your desk setup without buying an entirely new keyboard.
The Mistel Doubleshot PBT Keycap Set offers a premium solution that combines industrial durability with a stunning aesthetic. Featuring the “Gloaming” colorway—a sophisticated blend of deep blues and grays—these keycaps are designed to fit perfectly on Cherry MX switches and their many clones. Made from thick, high-quality PBT material using a doubleshot molding process, these caps ensure that your legends will never fade, providing a professional look that lasts for years.
Key Features
- Doubleshot PBT Construction: Two layers of plastic are molded into each other, ensuring the legends never wear off or disappear.
- Premium Gloaming Colorway: A unique, moody color palette that adds a custom, high-end look to any gaming or office keyboard.
- Extensive Compatibility: Includes a standard 108-key set plus 11 extra keys to accommodate various layouts and personal preferences.
- OEM Profile: Designed with a comfortable height and curvature that supports natural finger movement during long typing sessions.
- Oil-Resistant Texture: The PBT material provides a slightly grainy, matte finish that resists fingerprint oils and “shining” over time.
Why It’s Worth Buying
Investing in the Mistel Gloaming Keycap set is about more than just a color change; it is about improving the physical quality of your daily work. The extra-thick walls of these PBT caps dampen vibration, resulting in a more consistent and solid sound profile compared to cheap ABS plastic. Whether you are a competitive gamer or a professional writer, the non-slip texture provides better grip and accuracy. With the inclusion of extra keys and a standard 6.25U spacebar, this set offers incredible versatility for almost any full-sized or TKL mechanical keyboard on the market.
