In today’s smartphone market, many flagship devices have abandoned essential features like the headphone jack and high-fidelity audio hardware, forcing users to rely on expensive wireless dongles or subpar sound quality. For multimedia enthusiasts and music lovers, finding a modern smartphone that prioritizes a premium audio-visual experience without a staggering price tag has become increasingly difficult. Most budget-friendly options simply can’t compete with the display brilliance and camera versatility required for modern content consumption.
The LG V40 ThinQ (Renewed) for Verizon is a powerhouse designed for those who refuse to compromise on quality. Boasting a stunning 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED display and a groundbreaking five-camera system, this device remains a top choice for photographers and cinephiles alike. Clad in a sleek Aurora Black finish, this renewed model offers the sophisticated performance of the V series—including its legendary Hi-Fi Quad DAC—at a fraction of the original cost, making high-end technology accessible to everyone.
Key Features
- 6.4″ QHD+ OLED FullVision Display: Experience breathtaking colors and deep blacks with a high-resolution screen perfect for HDR content.

Why It’s Worth Buying
The LG V40 ThinQ is worth buying because it is one of the last “complete” smartphones for power users. While newer phones remove features, the V40 keeps the high-quality 3.5mm headphone jack, making it a dedicated portable music player (DAP) that also happens to be a great phone. Choosing a “Renewed” unit is a sustainable and smart way to own a flagship-tier device that still holds its own in display technology and build quality. It’s an ideal choice for Verizon users who want a premium OLED experience and versatile photography tools without committing to a multi-year high-cost contract.
