135 Degree Split Point, 14-Piece Black Oxide, 3-Flats Shank, Metal Wood Plastic Versatility: DEWALT Drill Bit Set DWA1184
Every DIY enthusiast and professional contractor has faced the frustration of a drill bit “walking” across a smooth surface, leaving behind ugly scratches and inaccurate holes. Using low-quality bits often results in snapped tips or dull edges after just a few uses on tougher materials like metal or hardwood. This not only wastes money on frequent replacements but can also ruin expensive project materials, turning a simple task into an expensive headache.
The DEWALT DWA1184 14-Piece Drill Bit Set is engineered to provide the precision and durability needed for flawless results every time. Featuring a specialized 135-degree split point design, these bits bite into the material immediately upon contact, eliminating the need for a center punch. Whether you are working with plastic, wood, or metal, this set offers the professional-grade reliability that has made DEWALT a staple in workshops across the globe in 2026.

Why It’s Worth Buying
The DEWALT DWA1184 is worth buying because it strikes the perfect balance between professional performance and daily versatility. The 3-flats shank is a standout feature, as it solves the common problem of the bit spinning uselessly in the chuck when you apply pressure. Additionally, the black oxide finish allows these bits to run cooler and last significantly longer than standard steel bits. Having a reliable 14-piece set at your disposal means you are always prepared for unexpected home repairs or creative wood-working projects, making it an essential foundation for any tool kit.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Excellent “no-walk” performance on metal surfaces thanks to the split point tip.
- Pros: The non-slip shank design saves time and prevents damage to your drill chuck.
