AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX, RTX 4060, 17.3” QHD 240Hz, 16GB DDR5, 1TB SSD Eclipse Gray Gaming PC: ASUS ROG Strix G17 (Renewed)
For many dedicated gamers, the dream of owning a high-performance machine often hits the reality of steep market prices. Standard laptops frequently fail to deliver the frame rates required for competitive play, leading to stuttering visuals and input lag that can ruin an otherwise perfect gaming session. Finding a desktop-replacement laptop that offers professional-grade specs without breaking the bank is a constant search for enthusiasts in 2026.
The ASUS ROG Strix G17 (2023) Renewed edition bridges this gap perfectly, offering elite gaming hardware at a much more accessible value. Powered by the monstrous AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX and an NVIDIA RTX 4060, this machine is built to dominate modern titles on its expansive 17.3-inch QHD display. By choosing a renewed model, you gain access to a 240Hz refresh rate and premium ROG cooling technology, ensuring a top-tier competitive experience that looks and performs like new.
Key Features
- High-End Ryzen 9 Power: Features the 7945HX processor, a multi-core beast designed for heavy gaming and streaming.
- Ultra-Fast 240Hz QHD Display: Experience incredible fluid motion and sharp resolution on a massive 17.3-inch screen.
- RTX 4060 Graphics: Supports DLSS 3 and ray tracing for realistic lighting and optimized frame rates.
- Modern DDR5 Memory: 16GB of high-speed RAM ensures efficient multitasking and rapid load times.
- Wi-Fi 6E Connectivity: Enjoy the latest wireless standard for lower latency and faster online gaming speeds.
Why It’s Worth Buying
The ASUS ROG Strix G17 is worth buying because it delivers the “Big Screen” gaming experience that smaller 14 or 15-inch laptops simply cannot match. The 240Hz refresh rate provides a significant competitive advantage in fast-paced shooters, while the QHD resolution ensures that your games look crisp and detailed. Furthermore, opting for a renewed version allows you to secure a high-end Ryzen 9 machine—hardware that normally carries a premium—at a much smarter price point. With a 1TB PCIe SSD and robust build quality, this laptop serves as a powerful workstation by day and a gaming monster by night.
Pros & Cons
